The Belgian Working Group for Gynaecological Pathology was created in 2016.

Aims

- To advance the knowledge and good practice of Gynaecological pathology
- To encourage interaction between pathologists with a shared subspecialist interest
- To stimulate scientific research by sharing experience and increasing the collective number of cases of unusual pathologies
- To collaborate with other societies and study groups with an interest in Gynaecology
- To organise teaching sessions and symposia
- To propose guidelines for improving the diagnostic accuracy, the appropriate use of ancillary techniques and new tests and the standardization of the pathological report
- To make consensus statements about any issue related to gynaecological pathology
