The Belgian Working Group for Surgical Pathology is composed of the members of the BSP/BWP board and aims:
- to address any transversal issue related to pathology
- to improve general pathology knowledge and practice
- to interact with the different sub-specialty groups
- to collaborate with other national medical and foreign pathology societies
- to propose guidelines for improving pathology quality in collaboration with the Belgian Pathology Commission and Sciensano
- to make proposals for pathology conferences and educational programs
