The Belgian Working Group for Uropathology was esthablished in 2016.

Aims
----

- To enhance the knowledge and good practice of uropathology
- To encourage interaction between pathologists with a shared subspecialist interest
- Sharing experience and cases of unusual pathologies
- To stimulate scientific research and collaborations between different pathologists/ pathology laboratories
- Incorporating science into daily practice
- To propose guidelines for improving the diagnostic accuracy, the appropriate use of additional techniques, new tests and the standardization of the pathological report
- To make consensus statements about any issue related to uropathology
- To organise teaching sessions and symposia
